We do not accept advertising from or for any website
which contains any type of pornography or any hate,
bigotry or other stupidity. We reserve the right not to
accept ads from or for anyone or anything we, in our
sole judgment, feel to be inappropriate for the
Surnames.com website. |
Ads are displayed on a rotating basis (except for page-targeted
ads). That is, if there are four banners currently in the rotation,
each will be displayed once for every six pages called by website
visitors. If our current average is 16,000 page views per day, each
banner would be seen about 4,000 times per day. Your ad remains in
the rotation until the number of days selected has expired.
Once your banner is placed in rotation, you will be able to check
the stats for your account at any time after the first 24 hours. We
will email you an account name and password to use when you log in.

Graphics:
The goal of web advertising is not to annoy
readers but to get them to click on your ad and go to your website.
Please keep that in mind when designing your ad banner.
Banners must
be 290 pixels wide by 73 pixels high.
File size cannot exceed 15 kilobytes.
Graphics should be correctly sized in .GIF or .JPG format. If
simple resizing is required, there will be an additional charge of
$10.00 per graphic. Any additional editing required is billed @
$80.00 per hour.
Use unique file names,
such as:

ad1.gif, banner.jpg, or the like. If you do, they might get lost or
overwritten.
